Supermarkets in Morzine
| There are three main supermarkets in the town of Morzine; The Champion, Shopi and Proxi. All three supermarkets sell a good range of daily neccesities. Further details can be found below.
All three supermarkets are within 5 minutes walk of the chalet. Remember to take a shopping bag with you because they do not give carrier bags. Strong re usable shopping bags can be purchased, or there is usually a supply of cardboard boxes to use.
English products are available although they are quite expensive, and the French produce is excellent. There is also a market on Wednesday mornings.

Champion Supermarket
Situated close to the river and can be seen on the left when walking down from the tourist office to the Church.
Champion is the biggest supermarket in Morzine with hot chickens, deli counter and a good selection of wines and beers
Opening hours 8.30-12.30 2.30-8.00 In the peak winter season there is no lunchtime closing. |

Proxi supermarket
Proxi is a smaller supermarket but has plenty of fresh produce, breads, drinks, deli counter and sells English newspapers. Located 50 metres from the tourist office, next to the restaurant Le Chamade which has statues of wooden pigs outside.
Opening hours 7.30 -1300 and 14.30-19.30 Sunday hours 7.30-13.00 and 15.00-19.30

Shopi supermarket.
Located along Route De La Plagne, 400metres from the tourist office. This is a good sized supermarket although we do not personally find the staff very helpful.
Opening hours: 8.30-12.20 and 15.00-19.30 Sunday 8.30-12.30 and 16.00-19.30
